I make a cradle by hand out of CONCEALEX material to use in conjunction with the RAM mounting system, tht actually works and holds the GPS firmly in place. Many complaints abound concerning the RAM CRADLE (not the RAM mounts, which are really good, in my opinion.) But the abbreviated plastic job that RAM makes often allows the GPS to eject and off it goes into the bushes to get busted or lost. Lots of reports of this for years now. My cradle was developed over the course of 15 months of playing around with KYDEX and CONCEALEX materials at home, and it has evolved into the present form which I now offer for sale. It's my full-time employment at present.

I call it the "Buzz-Bomb" cradle, and sells as an alternative to the RAM and Touratech units. It does not come with any RAM mounting hardware, but the hardware to attach it to the RAM diamond plate / ball mount is included. My effort has enjoyed some success and I'm happy to be doing it. Customers from the Adventure Rider forums have reported good luck and you can get more background on the product any my business from the vendor section on that forum as well. My sincere thanks to Michael for allowing me to post up on his forum here too - thank you Sir!

Buzz-Bomb cradles only available for fitting the Garmin 60-series at this time. Shoot me an e-mail to make sure I have one on hand to send, as I said each one is made by me by hand. These cradles have been field tested thoroughly for durability and radio frequency transparency (they completely enclose and protect the antenna) on bikes and snowmobiles off-road and single track, winter and summer by many riders during development with zero failures. Crash tested in Baja and in use throughout North America with great success. for such a small time operator, I am happy and humbled by the following it has developed commercially for me.  Right now, it's what I do for a living. A provisional patent is on the way as I form an LLC. When you buy one and use it, you deal with me and me only. Wish me luck, and good journeys to all of you.

There's no Paypal or credit cards for me - I take checks mailed to me at
