September 18 and 19, 2010 the Brushpoppers will sponsor a round of the KTM National Dual Sport Series. Other sponsors are Pro Grip, Parts Unlimited LeMans, Clarke Manufacturing and Mad Jack Motorsport Limited. Your bike MUST be street legal. The route for 2010 will feature a different course each day. The start and headquarters will be Mad Jacks Motorcycles 21590 Lincoln Road in Sterling IL. located on Route 30 east of Morrison. Take exit 36 from Interstate 88 and go west on Route 30 for about 3.5 miles. Mad Jacks is on your right on Route 30. Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening primitive camping available. Toilets and showers on site. Breakfast will be on your own for everyone but lunch on the course both days provided. Saturday evening meal for everyone will be provided also. The course will be about 120 miles on Saturday and a slightly shorter but different course on Sunday. Gas will not be provided but can be purchased at stations along the route. Plan on the lengthy stretch between gas stops being 65 miles. A route sheet will be provided describing the recommended course. Much of the route will be secondary roads and off road sections will be arrowed. Bikes should leave by 9 am each day. Entry fee is $90 for both days and $50 for any one day. AMA members will receive a $5 per day discount. Pre entries received before September 1 will receive a free event T-shirt.
